Rainy Day Shopping

As someone who loves rain, my least favorite thing about Californian weather is, well, the lack of it. We've been going through a major dry spell recently and I've long given up on the idea of opening my blinds in the morning to overcast weather.

But, we are quickly approaching April, which is traditionally quite a rainy month, no? So in the spirit of spring, I'd like to buy some rain gear. Who knows, maybe they'll come in handy this year.

First up, an umbrella. This Marimekko print is pretty sweet, and the price is reasonable.

Secondly, rainboots. Coming from Scandinavian designer Ilse Jacobsen, you can be sure these lace-up boots are hardy as well as stylish.

Third, an anorak. I want something lightweight and yet rainproof, like this H Chalayan jacket. I like the symmetrical zippers on the back.

Now go and enjoy the rain that is probably imminent wherever you are unless it's California.
