People are always asking if we originally planned to have such a large men's assortment in the shop. The answer is NO. It's just that the men's world is so exciting and there's not a whole lot that can be done in ready to wear anymore. Comparatively, there just aren't as many boundaries to be pushed in the women's world. It's all been done.
Well we're taking it all back. Enter Felipe Oliveria Baptista. We totally forgot about him since his incredible window display at Colette. The Portuguese designer has an amazing vision and brings some new life to ladies fashion.
Check the superhero themes, bold colors, wild silhouettes and aggressive shapes. While some may accuse the collection as being too costumey or perhaps unwearable, there are some strong design aspects that are undeniable here. We are so excited to have our eyes peeled for next season.
