Hussein Chalayan exhibit

The London Design Museum is blessing us with an exhibit dedicated to, unarguably, one of the most genius designers of our time. Hussein Chalayan's memorable work started back in 1993 when he displayed dresses that he pulled out of the dirt in his backyard. What?
The exhibit, beginning January 22nd, is said to include wearable wooden tables, the LED Swarovski crystal light dress, as well as ‘Before Minus Now’—a dress made from aircraft construction materials that changes shape by remote control. Best known and loved for his ingenuity and constant innovation in shape and fabrics, we are curious to see how anyone could ever put together an exhibit that honors him properly.

Wear Your Hair (or someone else's)

We love Nagi Noda, and even more so after this. Best known for the HanPanda (which we have all over our store), Nagi Noda continues to push the envelope with these hair pieces. Meant to be worn as hats, they are (scary) silhouettes of our most favorite animals. Rumored to be worn by Bjork on tour, and then to make a special appearance at Colette in September, we really wish we could score one for when the Humane Society stops by to say hello. 

Last Weeks to Enjoy NEKO!!

If you haven't been in to the store to see the Neko exhibit yet, you must be sleeping under a rock. A big, heavy one. This is her first gallery in the U.S.! All her work was shipped straight from Osaka, Japan, and custom framed by us truly. Both her original pieces as well as her prints are SO amazing. And only for a few more weeks, her art is available at Acrimony. Prints range $120-$190, originals $540-$1200. Get that Target art off your walls!
